Blood miRNA analysis
Service outline
We analyze your serum or plasma samples for microRNA expression profiling using our DNA chip 3D-Gene™ and send you back the data report. Upon your request, we also perform statistical analysis, such as a selection of differentially expressed genes and cluster analysis.

Process flow of services
- (1)Preliminary discussion

Our company's representative will contact you by visit, email, or phone.
- (2)Sample shipping / RNA extraction

Please send us your samples. We will extract microRNA from your plasma or serum samples based on our originally developed protocol. RNA quality assessment and concentration measurements will be also performed by us using Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and spectrophotometer.
- (3)DNA chip analysis
-
We will perform the microarray analysis based on the protocol originally developed by our company. The obtained numeral data will be statistically analyzed. Upon your request, we will also perform analysis that leads to biological interpretation based on the signaling pathways or cellular localization analysis using fully available genetic annotation.
- (4)Delivery of report

The following documents will be sent you by courier service. Upon your request, we can also perform data encryption and/or send the documents by content-certified mail.

* The data are saved on CD-R or DVD-R and sent to you.
- (5)Discussion

We will support and consult you on further analysis methods based on the analysis results.
Sample conditions
>500µL serum or plasma samples.
* If your sample is less than 500µL, or cell culture supernatant, please consult us using this Inquiry Form.
Note:
- The work for this service is in part contracted to our affiliate Kamakura-Techno Science Inc. We have a business outsourcing contract (secrecy clause) with Kamakura-Techno Science Inc.
- Please send your samples frozen with dry ice. Please send your samples at the previously discussed and specified date and time. Our company will not owe any responsibility for any problems related to the sample transportation.
- If the samples to be submitted are clinical (human) samples, please obtain the informed consent from the sample donors.
- We might not be able to accept samples that are highly infectious. Samples that we can accept are restricted to those at the P1 level established in the “Law Concerning the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity through Regulations on the Use of Living Modified Organisms” of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japanese government.
- In general, we cannot return your samples.
- Please do not use this analysis service for any purpose other than for research (do not use for medical diagnosis, medical product, food manufacturing, or any kinds of tests).
Standard turnaround time
The normal turnaround time is within 1 month after the samples are received at our company. However, the turnaround time may vary depending on the quality of the sample.
